Tea Time Outdoor Party, it’s spring!Mart 21, 2021
It’s time for a tea party again! Looking for something completely different in my photos, I came across the tea party I gave my granddaughter in 2010. I had forgotten how fun it was doing all the decorations and how much fun we all had. I think every little girl should have a tea party soiree at least once.
I wish I could remember exactly how I did this. I only remember poster board, felt, and I used the pipe cover you can buy to keep your pipes from freezing on their arms and legs.
I found this free paper cake pattern online but can’t remember where. These party favor boxes were fun but time consuming to make. But it’s worth it.
We had to make the crazy lawn game out of the movie, of course!
Food, food and more food!
I love to cook for something special, not everyday cooking so much. Lol!
Even crazier decorations, film-inspired.
I needed a giant mushroom, and the portable heater was no longer used for the season so it became the giant mushroom. I remember using this styrofoam stuff that comes in a can and lots of paint, paper cups, paper towel rolls and wish I could remember how I made the caterpillar. I’ve been saving paper towels and toilet paper for weeks. Too weird!
The girls’ eyes popped out of their heads when they came through the gate.
We numb every old chair we could find.
Upside down shells with sticky spots on small cheese pots (which can be obtained from hickory farms) became mushrooms.
More bowl of mushrooms and decorations.
Loving family and friends.
Hope you enjoyed my little tea party tour. It was so much fun writing this post and remembering this wonderful memory!
