Patriotic table decoration idea
Let me guess that this is where you are looking for a table setting. And for patriotic table decoration ideas to celebrate United States Independence, Memorial Day, or Labor Day? If you’re looking for something that is easy to create, then I hope this table landscape helps you.
HOW TO CREATE A PATRIOTIC TABLE CAP
The best way to plan a patriotic party is to decide where the table is. I picked the porch for this backyard BBQ party. So I put our wicker furniture outside and brought the back patio table to the back porch.
My son-in-law and I made this table and I have the details on it how to build a farmer’s table. Now you’ve set your July party table. Let’s start decorating the table step by step.
Patriotic tables fabric
First, decide if you want one Tablecloth, Paper or leave the table smooth. I used this towel that I found in the aim Dollar spot last year, but here’s another one similar striped ceiling. Just toss your tablecloth over the table and make sure that there is the same amount hanging on each side. Now let’s create a patriotic table centerpiece.
Now put an old or new white or cream colored jug on the plate.
I like to make tables that have a little story or something special about them. I made one years ago 4th of July table landscape and used many of the same table decorations. And this table also takes us back in time.
The jug is a salt-glazed jug from the 19th century. The Wooden rolling pin is also from the 19th century. It belonged to my great-grandmother on my father’s side.
Consider using vintage or antique pieces. You can find pieces in thrift stores or antique stores. Or you can buy a plain white jug and paint blue stripes around it.
Now we’re starting to set the place settings, and again I have a little story to tell.
Independence Day Patriotic Place Setting
I usually design a place setting around a small present for my guests. Since this is a small family backyard barbecue party at home, I wanted to write a bit of history. But you don’t have to have a story behind your table settings for your table.
Napkins and salad plates
George Washington’s birthplace
If you are using this Currier and Ives Teller You add a little gradient to your table. The design on this plate is George Washington’s birthplace. This house on this Salad platter is located in Virginia at a national monument called George Washington’s Birthplace. The original house burned down but has been reconstructed for visitors.
As we celebrate America, I thought adding this plate would be fun. This is my favorite part of the table. The land and house where George Washington was born belonged to my 10th great-grandfather, Henry Brookes. He sold it to George Washington’s father. The baby Washington was later born there.
Do you see the connection to this idea of a patriotic decor party? George Washington is one of the Founding Fathers of our country and our first President.
Now we come to the cutlery. Since this is an upscale garden grill, have some fun and add to it Wooden spoons, forks and knives. The wooden cutlery goes well with the July 4th centerpiece.
But you can use any kind of cutlery Wooden utensils makes the table a little more fun.
Next, add jars for coke swimmers. I found this cute Irish coffee cups with a handle on the dollar tree. I love to shop for glassware there. You have many options and you can order online if you have a large number of guests and need a larger quantity. You can check them out Dollar store also for glassware. It’s a great place for shopping.
Guess what? Your table is ready so add your chairs unless they’re already at the table. It’s time to celebrate !!! So turn on your grill. We looked for hamburgers, fries, baked beans, and Coca-Cola poses for dessert. My cute little nephew and his mother came over to celebrate.
He was so cute! His favorite part was when I let the cola float in the sweet one coffee mug. He watched every detail as I put ice in the glass and then added the cola. He thought it was cool, but when we asked if he wanted any, he said no. LOL!
After your table is ready, there are a few more details you should add to your party. Grab your patriotic themed decorations and start decorating the room, porch or patio. I keep a box full of patriotic decoration for summer.
Add a Flag pillow on the chairs or a banner on the walls. Here’s a cute one free printable patriotic banner. Easy subscribe to on my email for access to all of my free prints. If your party is in the evening, hang some Fairy lights. Fairy lights So give the event a pretty shine.
Add more American flags to plants or other items in the room than I did on the plant in the corner. And if you have any great star Shape decor add them to your space. Adding additional pieces of decoration for July will make the room more festive.
Here’s one last look at the table so you can see all the details.
I hope you brought some ideas with you and I hope your party will be nice and fun.
Have fun decorating!
