DIY DOLLAR STORE SPRING TABLESCAPE WITH BEE THEMENisan 2, 2021
Today I’m sharing a simple and inexpensive DIY dollar store spring table landscape. Spring is a great time for entertainment and these table decorations are perfect for Easter, Mother’s Day, Summer or Spring. This bee-themed table will be the talking point of the party.
As simple as that DIY Dollar Store Spring Table Landscape is probably the easiest and cheapest family or small party table setting I’ve come up with so far, and it exudes happiness.
Most of this table is handmade and dollar tree or dollar store items. I even have a new dollar store to introduce to you. More on that later, but recently it came to my attention that a lot of people don’t know what a table landscape is. Here is my definition of a table landscape.
WHAT IS A TABLE LANDSCAPE?
A table landscape is the same as table decorations or table decorations for dinner, lunch, brunch or breakfast. It’s a table for friends and family that usually deals with topics like spring, fall, Christmas, etc.
Now that you know what a table landscape is, let’s move on to this table setting where the design started with a napkin for honey bumblebees.
DIY DOLLAR STORE SPRING TABLESCAPE
First, let’s collect some materials. Here is a list of what you will need.
What is popshelf?
You may have noticed the floral decoration bowl from Popshelf and wondered what is Popshelf? Well, it’s a new business concept from Dollar General. It brings a high-end look with a low price range. Most of the items in the store cost less than $ 5.00. They carry trendy decorations for home decor, beauty articles, handicrafts, toys, specialties, cleaning products and much more.
I loved it after visiting the one in Atlanta. Pop shelf has so many beautiful home accessories and I couldn’t wait to share this trinket dish on this table landscape with you.
HOW DO YOU MAKE BUFFALO CHECK CHARGERS?
Before you start creating this backyard table in the cottage garden, let’s make the Buffalo Check chargers.
Next, paint a layer of chalk paint, acrylic, or some other craft paint. Let that dry and add another layer if needed.
Now take 2 ” Painter’s tape and run a piece of tape down the middle.
Next, place another piece of painter’s tape against the first piece and place another piece next to it.
Remove the center piece and repeat this step on the other side.
Press your finger along the edges to prevent the paint from bleeding under the tape. Once the tape is secure, brush the teal paint dry.
To dry the brush, simply dab your brush into the paint. Just a tiny bit at the tip of the brush. Then dab the brush on a paper towel or paper plates to remove some paint.
Then lightly brush the paint between the pieces of tape. After you’re done, remove the tape and let it dry.
You can use one hairdryer to fasten the process. Once the paint is dry just repeat what you did but rotate the spot 90 degrees and start gluing and painting again.
After removing the tape and yours Charger are good and dry it is time to cover this table centerpiece with a spring bee motif.
DIY DOLLAR TREE SPRING BEE THEMED TABLE SETTING
Start by placing the white board in the center of the table and then placing all of your pastel colored buffalo checks Charger.
Next, add your dollar tree in white Plate and salad plates are stacked on top of each other.
Now take the adorable light blue honey bee Martha Stewart napkin and place one in the center of the dollar tree white salad plate.
Then put out the flower arrangement Popshelf right in the middle.
Next, add your cutlery. We used gold cutlery that we bought from an antique / thrift store, but silver works in this table setting too.
And last place yours La Rochere glasses over the knife on the table. If you can jump for this Le Rochere beehive glasses They are the icing on the cake. They’re so beeautious and they’re perfect for a lot of other table settings like mine Garden party decoration ideas and the Thanksgiving table setting.
SIMPLE SPRING COMOMILE FLORAL CENTERPIECE
Having a dark table and adding a white chalk-painted board will brighten your centerpiece. I have used this white board on many table landscapes. You will find it useful.
First, place your white board in the center of the table. Then add painted clay pots wrapped with line staggered on the white board.
I have instructions on how to paint these pots to make them look old in mine French country table decoration idea Post Office.
Once they are painted and dried, wrap them up line and put them on your board.
Next, put a small mouthwash cup in it, or something that will fit in, hold the water and put water in the cup.
I like to use filtered water from the fridge. Flowers seem to last longer.
Next, cut the stems on the flowers about three inches long. I took a handful and cut them all together, then put them in the pot with the cup.
After filling the clay pots with chamomile, cut some other pieces of flowers and drop them around the clay pots as if they had fallen off the flower arrangement.
I found it easier to bring the board and pots into my kitchen through flower arrangements. I found these flowers at Trader Joe’s, but here’s a post on that best places to buy flowers if you don’t have Trader Joe’s.
Now you have a simple centerpiece for your spring bee table setting. Put your board and flower arrangement back in the center of the table.
See how easy it is to make this springtime table and there are so many events and dinners to make it for. And all ages will love it !!!
So let’s look at the whole table after each piece is set.
After you have set a nice table for your family and friends, let’s talk about a gift for your guests.
One of my favorite things to do is give guests the top cover when they go home. So share it with your friends and family so they can take it home with them Popshelf jewelry bowl.
If you have people at the party and the flower dish may not be their thing, tell them that giving it to a loved one is a great gift.
I mentioned other holidays that this DIY dollar tree table landscape is good for, and the most obvious one is Easter as it’s the heart of spring. A cute way to add a touch of Easter is to put grass in the bowl and a speckled egg.
Another great idea is upcoming Mother’s Day. Wouldn’t it be fun to celebrate all of the women in your life who played a role in taking care of you? When you create a spring bee table like this, they feel so special.
I hope this inexpensive table setting has inspired you to create a beautiful table this spring.
Have fun decorating!
